In conjunction with the exhibition "America's Irreplaceable Dance Treasures: The First 100," this multidisciplinary piece brings together Isadora Duncan's dramatic life, her revolutionary dances and the art and music that inspired her. The dance performance will mix visual projections, voice, instrument and spoken narr...ation. Duncan, the "mother of modern dance," was a pioneering feminist and one of the first international superstars. The program features actress Shirley Romaine as narrator and Beth Jucovy, founder of Dance Visions, and her company of dancers.
