Each year, Heritage Preservation and the American Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works (AIC) present this joint award. It is presented to an organization in North America that has be...en exemplary in the importance and priority it has given to conservation concerns and in the commitment it has shown to the preservation and care of its cultural property.

For two years, conservationists and artists have been refurbishing a 1986 painting by Eva Cockcroft adapted from Georges Seurat's famous "Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte." Finally, their work was unveiled.
