You may (or may not!) know that while Ali Jagger our Development Manager was working at Roses Tea Rooms she developed a range of jams and chutneys.
One of these chutneys she was working on was a winter warming Apple and Peach Asian Chutney which is made from beautiful Sri Lankan ingredients and is... absolutely delicio...us - it is gorgeous with cheese or cold meats or anything that takes your fancy. Ali entered it into Clippy's Chutney competition and we are delighted to say that it has been shortlisted into the top five entries in the whole country! It would be great news for Roses Tea Rooms and the Wirral in general if Ali's chutney won and Clippy's really is a lovely chutney brand with a superb ethos.
Please do take a second or two to vote for Ali's Apple and Peach Asian Chutney - if it wins the chutney will be rolled out countrywide and would be a great start to Wirral's Year of Food 2010 ..
