Ms. Hahn -- your continued commitment to contemporary composers is inspiring -- especially to those of us that joyfully languish in obscurity :)

Interesting.....as the computer programs and sampling gets better, you can get a better idea of what your music could sound like, but it's not the real thing by a long shot.

Thoughtful answers to often mediocre questions. Great answer about how you feel free to ignore interruptions when practicing.

I thought the interview got interesting when you turned around and became the interviewer instead... I was quite interested in what he had to say about possible future trends in the recording industry

It was so interesting to find out that Hilary also went through the Palentology phase as a child. I wonder how many music educators merge with those interest. Hilary is so interested in everything she reminds me of the science Guy that hosts Nova lately. I can see her doing that for music.

I shall be attending your concert when you find yourself in Vancouver; and I shall be doing so ‘sans shoes,’ so I may have my socks properly and accordingly knocked off.

Thy sweetness and sound moves me more than eloquence,
It is your music I so choose, and joy be my consequence.

I don't think Tweeting would be the most ideal medium for Hilary. She has such complex thoughts to express.

As for going to a concert. Just get me a bean bag and put me in the front row so I can float into the music from expressive phrase to phrase. I'm there for you Hilary. I'm entranced by every note.
