We love our HWOT books too, and materials! Love those wooden pieces to match to sample on the mats, and then create the independent letters on the blue mats! Also love the grey blocked paper, and the chalk boards, and magnadoodle thingy! We teach our kids the "jingle" and it helps them learn the letters really fast! Fr...og Jump Capitals first, like letter E is "Big line, little line, little line, little line!" We have used these materials to create our own writing curriculum from! WE love HWOT! Got "Writing Words" for ages 5-7 and Simple Sentences for ages 5-7 and also Sentences for 6-8. These books are very well structured, and the prompts are faded well thoughout the books, as the level of difficulty also increases. I like the v...isuals provided especially for our spectrum kids. Autism Training Solutions Update on Levi!~ He is doing amazing in his new inclusive classroom! He has just about mastered out the entire basic language section of the ABLLS (has some more Intraverbal targets to master!) but he is loving his new classroom with his typically developing peers! Great spontaneous language and social interactions are... occurring! What a wonderful teacher! And we can't say enough about his 1:1 shadow aide!
