I am so thankful for my mom she has been disabled my entire life and the doctors told her not to even try and have me but she did and 19 years later here I am she has done everything a "normal" everyday mom can do she never said I can't or felt sorry for herself anything me and my sister wanted to do she found a way for us to do it she has provided... See More for me & my sister and we are very lucky she gives to the community every moment she can she is at all of our volunteer firefighter fund raisers & volunteers her time to helping there is so much good about her that I couldn't possibly list it all!! also I am very thankful for my dad he has really stepped up in the last few years that me and my sister are no longer at home and my moms health getting worse he wouldn't change a thing and takes care of her every step of the way he is very supporting of everything any of us do!!

I am Thankful for Patricia Rapert, She deserves the flowers because she has sacrificed so much for her husband & kids, and went to great lengths to give my father a quality of life when the doctors had given up, Thanksgiving was his favorite holiday & she has to spend it without her soulmate!

I am thankful for my dad. Terry Turner... Not only is he the best. He always has been there for Jeff and I....any bind we get ourself in or just to talk. He is a helpful hand to many in the Hope community...once owner of the plumbing store in Hope and still works there. He helps many with plumbing problems....He also is a all around handy man. ... See MoreHe helps others all the time. I don't think I have ever known this man to put himself first before anyone. My dad is awesome and I am so so so Thankful for him!!! Love him lots!!!

I'm so thankful for my mother, Ramona Strech. She is one of the most kind and unselfish people I've ever known. She has given of her musical talents/ability to this community for over 40 years ( mostly on a volunteer basis)....NEVER has an unkind word to say about ANYBODY..always looks for the good in people. She is THE BEST MOTHER that anyone could ever have, and I love her very, very much!!!!

I'm thankful for my amazing family who is so loving and supportive. Every time we have a hair-brained idea about moving somewhere else or starting new jobs, they are always supportive. Yes, Bitsy, I'm talking about you, mom and dad. Y'all are the best! So, could you make up something pretty for Mom's thanksgiving table? :) Oh, and Allison's husband, Gabe, is definitely a good wife and good cook!

I have many people in my life to be thankful for. But to pick one I have to say I am thankful that God chose for me to be born into a wonderful family. There has never been a time I can remember that my parents did not open their home to someone in need. They never complained about the sacrifices that were made to make my life perfect. I cherish the Christian example they have given to me and my children and grandchildren.
