Hounds of the Heartland will be at the NW Exp & Rockwell Petsmart TODAY from 1-3pm.
Kim Stranglen-Robinson Get your greyhound's cowboy duds ready, it's time for the annual Stockyard City Cowboy Parade. It is Saturday Dec. 5th We will line up east of Exchange there is parking at the church the parade starts at 10:00. Everyone is invited bring their greyhounds to join us as we spread the word about our great pets.

Julie Grey Mullins Dairyland Greyhound Racetrack in Kenosha, Wisconsin will be closing on December 31, 2009. 900 Greyhounds need to be adopted or they will be euthanized. Please help me get the word out; there is only 6 weeks to get this task done. Mark your calendars for December 5th! Hounds of the Heartland will have a booth at Leadership Square during the Annual Sandridge Santa Run and after party featuring a Costume Contest and Health Fair!
The event will include a 5k run, a One-Mile fun run, and a Santa Clause Kid's dash for tots as well as cash prizes for t...he best costumed runners. The run starts and ends at Leadership Square (211 N. Robinson) downtown at 9:00 AM but the festivities last long after!
We are hoping to reach an entirely new group of potential foster homes and adopters so please spread the word about this fun event!
