Last night I attended the Interfaith Women’s Ramadan Iftar hosted by Brigid’s Place and Christ Church Cathedral. This was a wonderful dinner in which a variety of women came together to share a meal and discuss both commonalities and differences.

Diana Muñiz, a Christian, left, talks with Dr. Nusrat Ameen, a Muslim, at Thursday night's gathering. 'We are here to share our faith and talk about misinterpretations," Ameen said. "Religions get hijacked by fundamentalists," Muñiz said.
Brigid's Place, Houston is proud to have been a part of the Interfaith Women's Ramadan Iftar. This event brought together amazing women for a great night of dialogue and fellowship. Many thanks to the planning committee and volunteers who made the event a success!
Brigid's Place, Houston is furiously working on last minute details for this Thursday's Iftar. We accomplished our goal of a sold out event and can't wait to experience this celebration. It will be an amazing night.
