The 1st Annual "Houston Comedy Film Festival" will be held in Houston, Texas over four days from December 8-11, 2009 at the Studio Movie Grill City Centre at 805 Town and Country Lane, Bldg 10A, Suite 200, Houston, TX 77024. The HCFF serves as a forum for comedy filmmakers, comedy screenwriters and stand-up comedians f...rom all over the world to showcase their films to a Houston audience. Houston 48 Hour Film Project Houston 48HFP filmmakers and fans gathered at the beautiful TBH Theater to watch the top 13 films of this year and find out which films won the judges awards.

Best Film of Houston 2009 went to "Subterfuge" by 4th Collective. It will go on to compete against winners from around the world for the title of "Best 48 Hour Film of 2009".
