Houston Gaming and Media User Group I'm Oz... one of the user group leads. I play video games and I'm a software developer, but I've never written my own game. But the idea of the group is just that, helping me and many other people get in the right track, and based on practices and examples, build something that will serve as the starting point for building games.

The Houston Games and Media User Group is holding its first meeting Thursday, May 22 at the Microsoft Houston office complex. Special guest speaker for this event will be Marco Zambetti, Creative Director for Tietronix Software. Mr. Zambetti will discuss topics related to digital art history, and current theory and pra...ctice for real-time artistic development. Pizza will be provided, so please register for this event.
