STC Houston
DATE: November 18, 2009

HOUSTON – Just in time for the holidays, the Grammar Goddess is coming to town. She sees you when you’re writing. She knows if you made a mistake. Her colleagues know her as Rhonda Cavender. At the December 2 meeting of Association for Proposal Management Professionals (APMP), Rhonda will bring some background stories and anecdotes behind the “Timely Tips” published online by Shea Writing & Training Solutions.

At Shea, Rhonda is a senior editor and editor of “Timely Tips.” Her primary responsibility is to perform predelivery quality assurance checks on clients’ documents. She has helped design and deliver technical writing training for several of Shea’s clients, working with them by email, telephone, teleconference, and onsite. If Shea’s writers have a question about grammar, punctuation, or word usage, they go to Rhonda, and if she doesn’t know the answer, she finds it. ... See More

Rhonda earned her B.A. in English with a minor in German at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. She has extensive experience with detailed editing.

The December 2, 2009, meeting of the Greater Houston Chapter of the Association for Proposal Management Professionals (APMP), at Brown & Gay Engineers, Inc., Lubbock Conference Room, 10777 Westheimer Rd, 3rd Floor, Houston, Texas.
