We are going to plan a talent showcase event to raise funds to benefit Texas Children’s Hospital through the Children’s Miracle Network. We have many ways to get involved including committees such as fundraising, public relations, morale, recruitment and more! The need for blood donations go beyond what people see on television and the news. Blood is needed for individuals being treated for cancer, babies that are born prematurely, individuals with anemia and much more. Blood donations save lives and there is no substitute. It must come from one individual to go to another, ...and every donation can help save up to three lives. That is why we encourage individuals to Commit for Life and donate at least once every quarter.

Emergencies happen daily and require that blood be available ahead of the need. Every day, 2,000 units of blood are transfused in the Texas Gulf Coast region...365 days a year. Regular blood donors give at least twice a year.
