For Michael and the question about Facebook platform changes. In a word, yes.
The best way to follow the changes is to subscribe to the Atom feed on http://www.jesses-social-networking-site.com/. I'm updating it with notes about the changes.

At the moment, you can go to http://apps.facebook.com/developmentqa if you are a Facebook developer (i.e., you've added the Developer app). That code is currently the book's code without changes running on the beta software. You can see that it all works.

There's a new app for the beta software that is going to start appearing in the next day or so. It will incorporate the interface changes. At this point, I'm leaning towards not posting the code itself (just the app) until Facebook makes the changes final. Comments and suggestions are more than welcome.

The Atom feed from the blog automatically updates the Notes on the book's Facebook Page, but the fastest way to get the changes and comments is to subscribe to the blog.

Check out the Downloadable files note, or the Example Code Updates for details of the additional version of Chapter 15 code that incorporates the latest Facebook API. When you download it, please sign up for the Downloads mailing list: we know there will be a major change to Facebook Profile pages this spring, and we want to be able to let you know when the revised code is posted for the example.
