HomeworkKansas is an after school tutoring service that connects Kansas students one-on-one with live tutors. It is targeted at students in Kindergarten through 12th grades, college introductory students, adult GED students, and other adult learners. Students can connect to tutors from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., seven d...ays a week. FESTIVAL OF TREES The library will host the Festival of Trees during the month of December. Individuals and groups are invited to bring and decorate a tree at the library. Patrons will vote on their favorites, and the money collected will be donated to the local charity chosen by the winner of the contest. Trees m...ay be set up anytime between Monday, November 30 and Saturday, December 5. Registration forms are available at the front desk, or you may contact Eunice or Stacey to participate. Bring or send a recipe to the library by THIS FRIDAY, November 6, 2009. Make your recipe (enough to serve 12 - 15) and bring it to the Recipe Swap Luncheon on Friday December 4 and receive a FREE copy of the cookbook with EVERY recipe included.
