I believe it's time we all opened our minds to letting ourselves be comfortable with ideas that are new and current... you know we have all come a long way, but we could all go further with being open- who cares what people want to do with their life, who is anyone to judge?

You don't have to be going through that way of life to accept it- you just need to respect every humans right..... as a race , we need to evolve.

I want to know why the word 'marriage' belongs solely to the church. Since when do supposed institutions own words?

McCain and Obama both have the same stance on the issues. They both oppose gay marriage, but are both in favor of gay unions, which grant all the benefits of a married couple, but under a different title.

Why not propose that the separation of church and state stand true and honor all couples as "unions", but if a couple wants to be married, leave it up to one's individual church?
