Humane Society for Greater Nashua Hi! I’m a 1 ½ yo greyhound mix named Roxie who has been at the HSFN since September. I have started going to obedience training at “Puppy, Please!” (www.pupplyplease.com). Jessica gives free training to shelter dogs so that they will be easier to adopt. I love class, especially getting the treats! I am learning so... much and am so thankful to Maureen, a shelter employee who takes me to class and lets me sleep over her house!
Humane Society for Greater Nashua Be careful while you are doing your holiday cooking as certain foods can be deadly to dogs that like to snack while you aren't looking! Foods to keep away from our fuzzy faced friends include grapes, avocados, chocolate, coffee, raisins, nutmeg, onions, garlic, raw salmon and certain sugar free candy and gum containing Xylitol.

Thank you to BJ’s Wholesale Club in Nashua for holding
a recent pet food drive for HSFN! For the
last week, in-store signage and a collection bin was placed at the front of the
store to let people know what to buy for the shelter – pet food, cleaning
supplies, copy paper, and most importantly, gift cards! While the drive... ends
today, we can always use BJ’s gift cards! Thanks for your support!!
