Keveney Stroup '04 is coming back to Juniata to talk about Human Trafficking on April 14th at 7pm.
A random note about alums in general: We like our students so much. It is fascinating to see the change from freshman to senior to grad student...we always knew you had it in you, you just had to see it. Your successes give us warm and fuzzy feelings.

Visaka Dharmadasa spent two weeks at Juniata talking about the reality of life in Sri Lanka. There are currently 100,000 civilians trapped in the fighting between the government and the tamil tigers. She was involved in the peace settlement in 2002. She says it worked because women are nonthreatening. Listen to her at this link.
AND, she taught me how to cook Sri Lankan style veggies in coconut milk.
