The Spring City Cycling Club of Huntsville, Alabama was founded in 1892 (yes, over 110 years ago!) for the purpose of the promotion and development of bicycling for sport, fitness, recreation, transportation, and safety education.

Spring City Cycling Club Three rides coming up. On the 31st is Barry and Wesley’s Annual Birthday Ride – 43 miles. Starting from Madison Cycles at 10:00am.
On the 1st is the Annual New Year’s Day Ride - Cherry Tree Loop, 33 miles starting at 11:00am. And on Saturday the 2nd is Williams Elementary School Ride – 35 miles starting at 10:00am. See the web site for more details.

Spring City Cycling Club Weekend Rides: Joyce Kilmer, NC Campout/Ride – cycle a very challenging 62 mile route. There are a couple of shorter options too. For the ambitious, there is the climb up the Skyway. Beautiful campground and tall tales by the campfire at night. Check out the web site for details.
Cherry Tree Loop – 33 miles. Starts at 9...:00am from the Hampton Cove Walmart on Sutton Road.

Tuesday Intergraph Ride – Will return with Daylight Saving Time in the spring. Tuesday Jetplex Ride – 5:30pm, 18-25 miles, 14-16 mph pace. Lights required. Spring City Cycling Club Our Silver anniversary event features NEW courses of 35, 50, 65, 74 and 103 miles. The course meanders through the rural Appalachian Foothills region of Madison and Jackson Counties in Alabama and the counties of Lincoln and Franklin in Tennessee. The 103-mile route includes a challenging climb up to spectacular Skylin...e Mountain. The 74 mile route takes in the Curly Putman Scenic Byway through the Paint Rock Valley. There's not a dull pedal stroke the entire ride.

Benefitting the Madison County High School Soccer teams, the All-You-Can-Eat Century offers maps, marked course, radio-dispatched SAG support, and four shaded rest stops with a variety of food and drinks. Finish your ride with a shower at the school and the delicious meal.
