HuskyTHON 2010 will take place from February 20th to 21st in the Hugh S. Greer Field House.
What is HuskyTHON?
HuskyTHON is an 18-hour dance marathon, where UConn students stand and dance for 18 hours to raise money for Connecticut Children's Medical Center. Last year, over 550 students participated, and through their small sacrifice, HuskyTHON raised over $107,000 for Connecticut Children's Medical Center! And of course, the entertainment at HuskyTHON never ends, including bands, dancers, DJ's, free food, morale dances every hour, and much more!
Founded in 1998 by the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life, HuskyTHON has become the premiere philanthropy event at the University of Connecticut. The event, which raises money for the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center and Children's Miracle Network, was founded by students who had a desire to give to the children who need their help the most.
Supporting and attending HuskyTHON can become one of the most memorable and rewarding experiences of your lifetime! For more information, please visit our website at huskython.uconn.edu, and thank you for your interest!
