High speed imaging allows us to capture life’s most elusive-yet-captivating details. To honor those filming outstanding moments in time, IDT introduces “The Speed of Life,” the first-ever high-speed video contest.
The Inaugural Winner, announced in November 2009, will take home an N-3 camera
Criteria:
* Video files en...tered must have been filmed and completed after Jan. 1, 2008, and must be no more than 60 seconds in length.
* At least 50 percent of footage must be filmed using high-speed, digital technology (250 FPS).
* There are no specific categories for content. Whether it’s cinematic, automotive or machine vision, high-speed makes anything relatively interesting.
* Submit your entries via IDT's website, between April 1 and Aug. 21, 2009.
Judging:
Prepare your army of followers. The winner will be selected based on “popularity” and overall entertainment value using online voting and a panel of expert guest judges.
Important Dates:
* Entries Accepted April 1 – Aug. 21, 2009
* Voting Sept. 1 – Oct. 20, 2009
* Winner Announced Nov. 5, 2009, VISION International Trade Fair, Stuttgart, Germany
