IRISS
The Forgotten Citizens Conference aims to:
* Stimulate new research into the social history of people with learning disabilities in Scotland
* Encourage people living in Scotland who have learning disabilities to tell their stories and to ensure that these stories are not lost
* Explore some historical reasons why people ...with learning disabilities in Scotland became forgotten citizens and to compare this with how things are today
* Create a space for discussion and debate

I recently found this excellent website full of resources on learning and study for students produced by the University of British Columbia. Most of the resources are licensed with a Creative Commons license so can be freely reused by other.
