I just watched a HBO doc called Schmatta: Rags to Riches to Rags last night. It was fascinating to see what has happened to the US garment industry in NY over the last several decades. 40 years ago, 95% of American clothing was made in the US...today only 5%!!! This past year I have seen countless clothing lines, co...ntractors, and sales reps close their businesses due to the economic situtaion combined with a lot of business going overseas. I am proud to say that Itsola is all made in LA! Help support American made products and keep the American garment industry alive!
