It is a non-partisan coalition event conceived to create as much public awareness as possible of conservative ideals and values through the messages of the participating groups.
It is an event for those who wish they could go to Washington DC for the 9-12 March on Washington but for whatever circumstances, can't make t...he trip. The spirit of this event is intended to parallel that of the Washington event, and to be a "sister" event of that one.
It is an event to rekindle awareness of the freedoms all Americans as guaranteed by the Constitution.
It is a peaceful event of unity to share with, and to educate the inquiring public, the concepts of fair taxation, responsible spending, and the protection of the free enterprise system and conservative values.

The event will feature general sessions as well as two different tracks for individuals interested in running for public office (Candidate Track) and those looking to become more effective activists (Activist Track).
Included in the training materials will be samples and supplements to help you apply what you learn in the training to your organization, candidate, cause or community.

Tired of politician's in D.C. bankrupting our nation? On September 12, join with patriots all across America for a march on D.C. This is your chance to join together with like-minded people and let it be known that we're fed up and not going to take it anymore! The Campaign for Liberty is a sponsor of this event, and C...ounty Coordinator, Laurie Jenner, is organizing a contingency from Illinois-16, and across the state, so we will be represented. If there is enough interest, she will make arrangements for a bus to transport our members to the event. If anyone else is interested in helping to organize for this event, please let us know!

The Springfield Rally will begin at 3:00 PM outside of Senator Roland Burris' office, at 607 East Adams. We will have a few speakers present, and then we will deliver our petitions. From Senator Burris' office, we will march to Senator Durbin's office, at 525 South 8th Street.

Our Chicago Rally will begin at 2:30 PM at Federal Plaza. For those interested in participating in a petition drive prior to the rally, members will be meeting at 12:00 PM at Federal Plaza and will head over to the Financial District to gather more signatures and attract more people to the rally. Beginning at 2:30, we ...will have speakers, and then at 4:00 PM sharp, designated teams will deliver our petitions to both Senator's Durbin and Burris.
