Imagine! SmartHomes Happy birthday wishes to Bob and Judy Charles SmartHome resident John Rohrer, who turned the big 4-0 yesterday!

John is currently employed through Labor Source and works a variety of jobs in the community. John spends a few hours each week at the retirement home down the street eating lunch and spending time with some of the residents. He also enjoys going to cookie club and going bowling with his roommates.

Imagine! SmartHomes For those of you who were not able to catch the recent airing of “Renovation Nation” featuring the Bob and Judy Charles SmartHome, here’s a link to the episode below. We had to re-size it so it is a bit small, but we think you’ll enjoy it. PS – don’t miss Sterling taking a ride on the adjustable counter top! Classic!

Imagine! SmartHomes Here’s some pictures of Charles Home resident Gerald Stopa in art class. Note the simple tools he is using to engage in this enriching activity. We love how technology helps our residents engage in many activities, but sometimes a dowel and a large paper clip are all it takes to make a big difference!
