This presentation on November 6 will be a follow-up to Vandana... Shiva's talk, Soil Not Oil: Food Security in times of Climate Change. This night will focus on topics such as permaculture, biodynamic farming, and soil conservation. Tips to get your soil ready for spring will also be discussed.

Potluck Dinner begins at 6:00 PM. Program and discussion begin at 6:45. Consider these possibilities (not required) when preparing your dish: vegetarian, local, in-season, organic. Suggested donation of $5 will cover drinks and other supplies, or pay what you can. Cosponsored by Transition Cincinnati. Call 513-921-5124 for more information. Email: office@imagoearth.org

Imago Well friends, came in this morning to find our entire back wall and doors covered with graffiti (mostly paint stolen from our shed). But we know the kids that did it. Play parent with me - I want ideas for 'retribution' that involve the kids being a major part of the cleanup and ideally get them to respect who we are and what we do. Or we could just be cruel. Thoughts?

Well said Mimi - thank you. As hard as it is... We need to be the change we wish to see in the world. Let's invite the kids to help us paint a mural on the building, or something they can be a part of. Instead of punishing them, simply ask for their guidance.

Great stuff friends. I think we have a plan that involves the kids, the parents, restoring the damage that was done + additional service time to work on a constructive project (garden, trails, etc.). The goal is to use to additional service time to give the kids something constructive and creative to be a part of, to connect to Imago in a postive way. Thank you all for your thoughtful suggestions.
