Man, I wish they were still together, Spouting Rhetoric is one of the best UKHC albums and songs ever!
"You've got a second hand political stance and your opinion's not your own, you just carry on, just carry on spouting rhetoric from your self righteous throne!" - Genius!

Tom She's a tricky one alright.. maybe you could get back together and do a benefit gig? Get everyone to donate £5 to the portuguese police to buy some new magnifying glasses and trenchcoats...

"The Future is a Joke" has got to be one of the most bad-ass songs I have ever heard! I wish I was the drummer in that band.

Andy was subjected to one of the 'best' heckles ever whilst playing in Boston at the I.Q. Upon mentioning that the poorly attended gig might be due to the absent having it off with their sisters, a particularly witty audience member shouted back 'Shut up you fish and chip bastard'.
Awesome band.

Chris Random piece of nonsense from the good old days that I'll never forget #263: all-dayer in Norwich in maybe '99 or 2000, imbalance play great set in which the main in-joke is how the amps aren't loud enough so they should "wank it up a bit". Love it.

I remember first being in contact with Rob from Imbalance either through email or on some random punk messageboard, he said he was living in Aveley or tilbury, right on the river in Essex kinda in the middle of nowhere. "Whatever for" i remember asking, "Aren't you a northerner?" like it was illegal for northerners to come live "Daan saaf" or something. Thats how a wonderful friendship began with Rob and ofcourse Ange, and ofcourse Imbalance. I have nothing but fond memories of Imbalance and all parties included, top top people with good hearts. I even love grun! Thanks for the tunes and the friendship folks, miss you all.
Thackers.

Imbalance The first two songs from our last official gig. One day I'll get around to copying the whole gig to my hard drive :)
