Tahoe Rim Trail Association Kilian takes his Quest west to the Sierra Nevada and the Tahoe Rim Trail. On Monday, September 28, 5 am, Kilian will begin his run in Tahoe City to attempt to break the record of 45 hours and 58 minutes.

Register now for the Tahoe Rim Trail Association Annual Meeting and Dinner. This event includes State of the Trail presentations by TRTA president and staff, along with keynote speakers Gregg Treinish and Deia Schlosberg.
This event aslo includes a buffett dinner, silent auction, live auction and presentation of the pr...estigious TRTA Hiker Award.
Gregg Treinish and Deia Schlosberg are the National Geographic Adventurerers of the Year for 2008 and were the first to trek the length of the Andes Mountains, an adventure that lasted nearly two years and covered 7,800 miles. Through intimate journal entries, stunning video, and captivating slides, Gregg and Deia will bring the audience along for the journey. To learn more about their adventures, visit their website.
Cost: Only $30 per person - pre registration only. Register by September 18th @ www.tahoerimtrail.org

Have you volunteered on the Tahoe Rim Trail this year? Please join us for our Volunteer Appreciation BBQ on Thursday, August 20th. The BBQ will begin at 5pm and continue till 7pm. Meet us at the North Tahoe Beach Group area near the intersection of hwy 28 and hwy 267 in Kings Beach. All volunteers and their families ar...e welcome to attend.
