Sally Johnson Senate leaders of both parties/key Senate Finance Committee members/tax credit sponsors have agreed to extend/expand the housing tax credit. BUT, there is no agreement on how to attach tax credit to the pending Unemployment Insurance bill, to offer it on another bill, or bring the agreement to the Senate floor and vote upon it as a stand alone bill. After Senate action, the tax credit must go to the House for action.
