HISTORY: Random Robbery is a mix of heavy guitar and background vocals with strong yet sweet lead vocals. the band is heavily influenced by today's greats such as Nickleback, Velvet Revolver, and Pink. The nucleus of the group consists of Barbi aka B girl, and Rob Laidlaw. Their alliance began in 2002, working togethe...r songwriting, and accompanying recording artists and their tours. As time passed, the partnership grew into full time development of this talent powerhouse. In 2006 Random Robbery caught the eye and ear of a NYC independent. From that moment forward, their debut record was in the making. During the 18 months in the studio, the duo brought in the expertise of the multi talented Darren "D boy" Smith. His heavy drums, backing guitar, and power vocals gave the project a serious kick. They released their first single Carry On, in fall 2008. The response has been great.
