IBP was noted by the President of Firestone Natural Rubber Company in the October edition of their E-newsletter, Firestone Voice.

"Our blog
takes note of the remarkable story of Mosoka Fallah, a Liberian graduate
student pursuing a Ph.D. in biomedical science at the University of Kentucky.
Fallah recently partnered with t...he International Book Project to donate more
than 8,000 textbooks to schools throughout Liberia. Firestone Liberia was
thrilled to provide shipping for the books from the United States to Liberia at
no cost through our Donation Cargo Program.

For the past month, IBP staff and volunteers have been working hard to clear out a storage area for the purpose of creating a new section of our bookstore. The project is finally FINISHED and we would love for customers to stop by and see the changes. Books are now better organized and much easier to find. The back ...part of the bookstore will now serve as additional office space. Donated books that are not requested overseas and/or are not appropriate for different cultures are sold in the bookstore to help offset shipping costs for overseas shipments.Read More
