The town is overlooked by the majestic Ben Bulben mountain, which is said to have been the dwelling of the Fianna (a band of Irish warrriors in the 3rd century). Sligo also has many beautiful beaches such as Enniscrone and Rosses Point. Worth a visit!

Situated right in the heart of the Wicklow Mountains National Park, Glendalough is one of the most visited locations in Ireland, with over 1 million visitors a year. Glendalough gets its name from "Gleann dá locha", which literally means the ‘Glen of the two lakes’.

Ireland Dublin Galway Cork & More! The ancient monastic site of Clonmacnoise is situated in County Offaly and dates back almost 1,500 years. The monastery is on the east side of the River Shannon, in what was then the Kingdom of Meath, but occupied a position so central that it was the burial-place of many of the kings of Connaught as well as those of Tara.

Ireland Dublin Galway Cork & More! Dublin's Ha'penny bridge got it's name from the toll paid to cross the river Liffey, which was one old half penny. The bridge dates back to 1816 and was the only pedestrian bridge until the year 2000. It features 3 lamps made of curved ironwork. More than 27,000 people cross the bridge on a daily basis!
