Friends and Neighbors:

I want to represent District 44 in the Oklahoma House of Representatives because I know I can bring a new perspective to the Capitol -- one that is pragmatic and forward-looking but still represents the values of Norman.

I haven’t spent my life preparing for a political career. Instead, I have worked at the grassroots level to directly improve our community with such groups as Bike Against Hunger and the Norman Sustainability Network.

As your representative, I will work tirelessly to create and pass meaningful legislation, not play political games. I will carry the torch on many issues championed by Bill Nations, including well-funded education, affordable health care for our children, and support for the homeless and people with mental illness.

It would be an honor and privilege to serve as your representative at the State Capitol. On July 27, I ask for your vote in the Democratic primary.
