J. Torres just got copies of the German edition of "Love as a Foreign Language." If anyone here reads German or is perhaps studying German and would like a copy, drop me a line! Otherwise, I don't know what to do with these :)

Just wanted to say that "Love as a Foreign Language" is one of my most beloved possessions. I've got the entire series published by Oni Press. J.Torres' script along with Eric Kim's artwork go so perfectly together. It's one of the best team-ups ever! I would encourage everyone to get it. It's not of the superhero genre. It's probably best ... Read Moredescribed as a romantic comedy. No matter if you're into that or not -- the writing and the art will keep you reading it again and again. It gets my highest recommendation!

Me, too! But sometimes it leads to better things. Or at the very least, the elimination of some embarrassing typos.

Thank you! Please stick with the "arc." Yes, my four issues can be read on their own, but together they paint a bigger prequel picture :)

Torres overcomes the challenges inherent in adapting what one could view as essentially silent film and captures the same kind of cuteness, curiosity and innocence that allowed a computer-generated robot character to mesmerize millions.

Sean Ross Hey J. A number of years back I got into an indy series you did called SIDEKICKS. I had issue 2 then couldn't find anything for a while. Then I found a collection of three or four issues done buy Oni followed by a one shot called The Substitute. That collection is one of my favorite stories of all time and I was wondering if you and Takeshi Myazawa were going to do a followup.

Hi, Sean. Tak and I have talked about a sequel for years now, but something always "gets in the way" (including other teen hero comics like Runaways and Teen Titans Go!). I'd still love to do something new so... never say never!
