That is the problem I feel that most of it was necessary---I think the publisher just set a 60K word limit ----they did not even ask to see the manuscript-----I have cut 3K so far and that was hard to do

Monks of our modern world are barely prone to isolation. Besides, lots of female visitors grace them with their enticing femininity. So, I guess there isn't at all any great mystery to writing female characters. :-)
