Jimmy Chang hi, i am amazed with the great pcss u took in BRIDEX 2009 THE ART OF WAR. Just wonder whetherare u using any zoom lens on those shots as i am thinkin of gettin a zoon len for my D90?
JAN SHIM PHOTOGRAPHY A wedding without the presence of kids is like a wedding without the bouquet both symbolic of a blossoming partnership (or a symbol of fertility as our grandparents would say).
JAN SHIM PHOTOGRAPHY The designated tea lady hands the groom a cup of tea during a traditional tea ceremony. Other than a symbol of respect for the elderly, each cup is received, consumed and returned with approval and blessing that accompanies emotional moments between the bride and her parents.

JAN SHIM PHOTOGRAPHY Another rehearsal picture of Conductor Charles Olivieri-Munroe and the Prague Chamber Orchester at the TOYOTA CLASSICS 2009, International Convention Centre, Brunei Darussalam. The stage got too warm so the tux came off but this gave Charles contrast against the otherwise dark and uninteresting background.
JAN SHIM PHOTOGRAPHY Soprano Marie's amazing vocals gets a thumbs-up from Conductor Charles during rehearsal at the TOYOTA CLASSICS 2009. She's got my vote too!

HRH Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah and at the TOYOTA CLASSICS 2009 sitted with fellow VVIP guests. Managing Director of NBT Toyota Brunei Mr Ninan Chacko and Mrs Chacko are sitted to the left of HRH.
I remarked in an earlier post how the EOS 5D II 's high ISO sensitivity opens new doors to incredible low-light images, this is another glowing example from a slightly different vantage point.

James from neighbour Miri stopped by the oil town for a bite at Kaizen Sushi earlier this evening en route the Brunei capital. We first got acquainted at Excapade Sushi in Kuala Belait then progressed to Kaizen in Seria for convenience. All work and no play makes me crave the outdoors! I don't remember the last time when I actually leaf foot prints in the sand. Yesterday, I turned down an invite to badminton for the third weekend now and I can feel the heatiness building up inside. More water less or no coffee is probably the best idea now but serious...ly, I'd rather be kicking water and enjoying a beautiful sunset (poof! Jan snaps out of a dream only to face the reality of more photos to process).
