Having some FB issues today. :) This is the new Karatstix Baabi Bamboo Needle Gauge Pendant. Also see the sock shaped pendant or the simple oval. All three go all the way down to the very tiny US0000 (1.25mm) needle size! Can you live without one?

JL Yarnworks I've been quiet for a reason. Working on getting this pattern to the test knitters this weekend. You're the first to see a sneak peek! This is just a quick cell phone pic. I'll share better pics once the pattern is ready for release. Then watch for a possible giveaway!

Once released, this pattern will be available on it...s own or as a kit in your choice of "Merlot" (purpley burgundy), "Midnight" (slightly bluer than navy), or "Steel" (medium gray)...all of which are semi-solids.

JL Yarnworks I need color suggestions. I'm rolling out a new product (early November?) that will allow customers to choose one of three colors, but I'm having trouble deciding which three I should offer. Considering a pale leaf green, deep purple, and denim or medium blue....but I'm torn. Considering replacing the blue with a pale ...peach or a pinky-tan. The colors need not coordinate. Help? Maybe suggest your favorite color/shade?

Ann, this is why we get along so well. I'm totally with you! But I figure not everyone is going to want plums, purples, and violets. ;)

Now I'm leaning towards gray, navy, and burgundy. My only concern is that the latter two don't photograph well and they're going to have cables that I'll want to showcase. Also leaning towards the pale blue to medium blue. I just don't want to get carried away with the full rainbow. ;)

It's hard to go wrong with gray and navy. I love burgundy but it's supposedly one of my "do not wear near face" colors. It would make lovely socks, though, which would be lovely and yet muted enough to wear to the office.

JL Yarnworks One of the arms of my skeinwinder just snapped in two. Grrrr. Already emailed the company for a replacement part, but that won't help me this weekend. Time to bring out the niddy noddy and wind my skeins by hand. I used to do it by hand all the time, but now I'm spoiled with my electric skeinwinder. I hope they get me my part very soon!!!

I've already heard back from Babes Fiber Garden, so hopefully I'll have my replacement piece soon! They asked for pics to see exactly which piece and what happened. I'm just impressed that I heard from them so early on a Saturday morning! Bodes well. :)

I always struggle with what I like versus what others will like. Every dye session I try to sit back and ask myself what colors and shades are missing. Reds? Brights? Pastels? What's funny is that the two opposite ends of the spectrum are what sell best. My absolutely favorites...and the ones I'm tempted not to sell because I don't like the way they came out. lol

JL Yarnworks Home from North Country Fiber Fair. What a great group of people. It's only my second year, but it felt so much like a family reunion. Hugs and smiles of greeting all around. I think that's one reason I do this. The people are absolutely beyond fabulous! Putting the websites back online now. Then I plan to take a day t...o recover before it's back to the groove. :)
