2008 - 17th & 18th October - BRANDS HATCH
The sun shone (at last !) for the final 3 races of the Caterham Roadsport 2008 Championship and whilst Phil Broad had already settled that at Donington, it was the Fauldsport team who dominated proceedings at Brands Hatch, with Lewis Hopkins taking both wins in his 2 races (and ...thereby securing 3rd place in the Championship) & team-mate JJ O'Malley taking the third race win of the day, his first ever in RSA. Fauldsport team-mate James Sharrock took comfortable 2nd places in each of his 2 races races to secure the overall runner up slot in the 2008 Championship.
Richard Jennings again had difficulties in qualifying, starting 22nd in both his races but at least making up 10 places to finish 12th in the first race & then making up 7 places in the second race.

Philip Broad wrapped up the 2008 Motorsport News Caterham Roadsport Championship in typically English summer conditions (i.e. pouring with rain) on Sunday afternoon, with a 2nd place being enough to secure the title, following on from Philip's 2007 Caterham Academy Championship... win.
The wet weather also provided the ideal conditions for "rainmeister" Lewis Hopkins to secure his maiden win of the season, racing in the Fauldsport colours.
Lewis's Fauldsport team-mate James Sharrock is on a roll and took his 2nd Roadsport A win, following on from his Silverstone success.
Richard Jennings had problems in qualifying with a failing clutch and started 26th in race 1 of the weekend. Although being forced to drive the last few laps with only limited braking capabilities, he battled to finish 16th, later being moved to 15th because of an infringement penalty given to another driver. In race 2, started 15th and finished 11th. Read More
