L&D got married last fall at Fore Lakes…I love their casual but elegant portraits…how gorgeous is this gown on her?! It was chilly so I loved Derek’s jacket on Lauren,…I was up for something different after I already got the ‘mom shot’...

As I wrote in a previous post, Alaina caught the bouquet at a wedding last fall when she was a bridesmaid for Kari & Tim. Sure enough, her and Jon were engaged shortly thereafter and they confessed that they booked me to photograph their wedding before it was even official...

It was a warm & humid day for taking pictures, mixed with an overcast but lit sky for even lighting. Little Dahlia was celebrating her fourth birthday with all her friends. We planted flowers, ate cupcakes, and danced & sang to her papa’s music...

I don’t think I ever experienced the terrible twos with K, really. Tantrum threes? Yes. It seems like in the past month, K has become incredibly opinionated, full of tantrums, really tall, really big, & very defiant...

Happy first anniversary to Lindsay & Keith who married last year on this day in Ann Arbor, Michigan! Their ceremony took place at the U of M Nichols Arboretum and they had a glam, candelabra-infested reception at Barnstormers. Lets travel back in time, shall we?
