Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Arrest made of Armed Serial Sexual Battery Suspect.
Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Video News Release - Assistant Chief Tom Hackney discusses the arrest of Bruce Edward McCray Jr. McCray is being charged with five counts of sexual battery and burglary. The photo of the suspect will not be released at this time. Detectives are still working other cases and it would compromise the investigation.
Jacksonville Sheriff's Office On November 20th, 2009 undercover detectives were in the process of making a narcotics buy at 5047 Princely Ave.. During the undercover operation, the suspect ( Bruce Kohn dob 02/09/1987) pulled a gun from his pocket and pointed it at the officer. The officer was able to discharge his firearm and survive the attack. Th...e suspect was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries.

On November 13, 2009 at approximately 2:37 p.m., police responded to a bank robbery at the BB&T located at 10625 Phillips Hwy The unknown female suspect... walked up to the counter, gave the teller a note and demanded money.
The photograph was taken by surveillance of the suspect committing the crime.

Jacksonville Sheriff's Office **MURDER ARREST** Shawn Shanks, 40 years old has been arrested for the murder of Willie Clarence Bell, 44 years old. The victim was shot in the face by the suspect and died at the scene. The murder happened on August 15, 2009 at 6:10pm at 635 South McDuff Avenue.
