Nick, thank you very much. Yes we employ a step by step process, that focuses the students on working on small aspects of the drawing at a time. The success of the artist at the studio is due in large part to the rigor of the early skill assignments that they all go through. We only use a 6b charcoal pencil and charcoal white from Generals. all of the values are mixed.
