Chasen, David and I had a great start to the summer in North Carolina. We are working with a giant staff of creative and faith-filled leaders and it’s been fun to pretend we’re a part of their team this week. The camp pastor was RYAN FONTENOT and we really loved hanging out with this guy...

I just added some new songs to THE MYSPACE PAGE. This record is WAY more pop than I’ve done in the past. These four songs will be proof of that. One of my friends has called the record “more accessible.” I think he was being nice...

Monday night was a long exhausting night and some of the most fun I’ve ever had. Some friends with cinematographic skillz decided we should shoot a video for one of the songs on the new record. The generous folks at THE STANDARD let us use one of their sweet old buildings to rock star up a bit...

Wow, I’m really overwhelmed by how many of you voted for the name of the new record. Actually more than just the votes, the number of well thought out reasons for your vote were the big surprise...

We are almost finished with the new record. I am in the studio this afternoon singing some more and then we’re off to mixing, mastering, and manufacturing. In the meantime we need to decide what to call the record and I want your help. Below is a form for you to pick your favorite title...

James Tealy Hey Everybody! Come vote on a title for the new record...http://tinyurl.com/cnukkd

This summer I’m joining a group of students in Thessaloniki, Greece for a week of work among the Roma people and I want you to join us. The project is a component of the partnership between M-Fuge International and International World Changers...

Making me proud! This video is of my Dad singing with the Music City Chorus. It’s a Barbershop Chorus…traditional four-part stuff but sung by a bunch of guys instead of four…and tuxes instead of vests and straw skimmers. My pop is the tall guy in the middle of the back row. Merry Chris

We’ve added some new songs to THE MYSPACE SITE. The first two are from the new worship EP called MAKE IT LOUD available soon. The last is Dakota’s Song (the bunny song). It’s a simple Garageband version recorded here at the house. You’ll have to add in your own “hop-hop-hoppin” backgr

There's a new blog post in the "Artist in Residence" section at www.soul-audio.com. Anybody on Twitter out there? Come follow along at www.twitter.com/jamestealy

As most of you know, I have been involved internationally in a variety of social justice and mission related experiences during my life. I’ve just been invited to participate in a unique experience in November and wanted to give my friends a chance to participate...

Okay, I keep getting requests for this silly little song. It's actually called "Dakota's Song" and is available exclusively in a SnoCap store on my site and the Myspace site. Below the music player on the Myspace site you'll see a SnoCap music store...

I just arrived a few hours ago in Skopje, Macedonia. I’ve been given some unique opportunities this year and this is one of the coolest. I will spend the week with a group of students serving among the Romani People in this country...

The Nashville CBS affiliate has run a story about my trip to China. You can read the story and watch a clip HERE. I’m certain I will be talking about and singing about this trip for years to come. Their news coverage will give you a taste...

A blog I’ve written just showed up at SOUL AUDIO. I really like these guys and their unique perspective on the intersection of art and faith. CHECK IT OUT HERE...

It’s Gospel Music Week in Nashville; a strange and surreal time where God’s glory crashes into the RawkStah Lifestyle. The result is a mess. It’s all cool hair, crosses, and cleavage. Guys in make up and capri pants. Girls with zebra hair flashing as much sex as Spirit...

An INTERVIEW just posted on a sweet new website called Soul-Audio. Here’s their tagline: “If the calling we believe in is to be salt and light, then that should be loud and clear in the artistry Christians produce. We believe that should be the same for a media outlet as well...
