James W King Had a good time playing at mama mia's last night...a 7 and 9 year old asked me for my autograph, that doesn't happen everyday. :) It made me feel good. I will be playing at mama mia's next friday as well for anyone who would like to come hang out. I've had some good experiences and awesome support from listeners, so thank you to you guys!
James W King Lately I've been thinking of what to go with as a stage name, I've been using the name "James W King" but I wanted to get some other opinions on whether or not that flows..."James King" is already being used by many other people so I'm skeptical of going with it. Let me know if you have any ideas please...Thanks!
James W King So this is what I was thinking...I'd like to do a benefit concert while visiting in Utah. I was thinking of having people bring a can of food or a donation of some kind to get in and then take it to the food bank or somewhere like that. The problem I'm having is finding a place to put on the show that doesn't cost mone...y to get in. If anyone knows of a building that we could get for free that would be awesome.

James W King So, near future plans...I will be posting a new acoustic demo for ya'll Hopefully within the next two weeks. And if it all goes according to plan, I will be performing a show with a full band that I have put together that will have a live video stream on the internet on october 29th. James W King So I have had some pretty cool experiences in the past couple of months with meeting some pretty influential people in the music industry. Yesterday I had the priviledge with the band I'm in for school to open up for Richie McDonald, who use to be the lead singer for Lonestar. He was a super nice guy and I gained alot ...of respect for him after meeting him.What a ride it's been so far. : )
