Tip of the hat on the appointment. A very worthwhile program.

On a separate issue, I would like to see the Governor stop any state funding to ACORN. I always felt they were corrupt and once in the mid 90's, when I had never heard of them, they protested my business. They went away after a few weeks but wanted a donation and for me to join which I did neither. Thanks

I have not checked facebook in over a week, but Senator Nelson keeps on getting plaudits and recognition for her stands and votes on conservative positions. The degree to which Senator Nelson has kept Texas conservative are much greater than even Republicans realize. Great Job Senator!!

I have been very disappointed in her position on the non -smoking issue in our state when other states in our country have been so pro-active as to make the whole state non-smoking.I understand that Myra Crownover has worked very deligently on the project and I was disappointed to know that she did not have the support of Jane Nelson or Tan Parker.

For a change I agree with the Star Telegram article. Sen Nelson clearly should have been on the 10 Best list but Texas Monthly are libs and all their articles are liberal. No one does more work and runs a better ship than Sen Nelson in Austin.
