Jaymee Sire joined Comcast SportsNet Bay Area in January 2008 and has served as a reporter on Oakland A’s, Golden State Warriors and San Jose Sharks telecasts. She has also hosted A’s in Japan, A Conversion With, Stanford Basketball and Cal Basketball Preview Specials and Cal Golden Bears Football Preview. She joined the network from KFMB-TV in San Diego, CA, where she served as a sports reporter from 2003-2008.
For two seasons (2005-2006), she was a sideline reporter for KFMB’s San Diego Chargers preseason broadcasts that aired locally in San Diego and on the NFL Network. During her time with KFMB, Sire received several broadcasting accolades, including the Pacific Southwest Emmy Award for Best Sports Story in 2007 and the RTNA Golden Mike Award (Southern California) for Best Sports Feature Reporting in 2004. Prior to joining KFMB, Sire was a news and sports anchor/reporter at KRTV, in her hometown of Great Falls, MT.
Jaymee attended Washington State University where she was a reporter and news anchor for WSU Cable 8. A graduate of the Edward R. Murrow School of Communication at Washington State University in 2002, Sire received the prestigious Judith Waller Award for Outstanding Senior Woman in Broadcasting in 2002. She lives in San Francisco, CA with her husband Jeff.
