Jean Welles Worship Guitar Class Today is Yom Kippur - the Jewish Day of Atonement. The high priest could only enter the Holy of Holies once a year. Because of the cross, Jesus has cleared the way for us to have complete access to God's intimate presence 24/7! AWESOME!

Jean Welles Worship Guitar Class Today is Rosh Hashanah, the Feast of Trumpet. Rosh Hashanah means “head of the year” – rosh means head, while hashanah means year. During the daily prayer service a ram’s horn, shofar, is blown. Could a Rosh Hashanah be the day the rapture will occur?

Thanks for your comments! Here's that verse that Jesus Mario Ruiz mentioned - 1 Corinthians 15:52

..in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.

How long is a 'twinkling of an eye?' Could that be in about the time it takes to blink an eye? Maybe it's even faster than an eye blink?

Jean Welles Worship Guitar Class The information for this year's worship contest is posted at http://worshipguitarclass.com/contest.html
Think about writing an original worship song and sharing it us. It's so precious to hear new worship songs.... especially from the kids!

We host a worship song writing contest every year. Come submit a song, or hear some from previous years.

Job is probably the oldest book in the Bible. The quote 'I know that my redeemer lives' is from the book of Job. Here are two arrangements of this song for you to enjoy. You can download the music for the I Know That My Redeemer Lives, then watch the video.

Jean Welles Worship Guitar Class Hi Julia. Yes I do remember you and that class. They are offering it at Shepherd of the Hills in Porter Ranch and I have quite a few friends taking the class. I told them how special it is!

Jean Welles Worship Guitar Class Tammy, I have no idea how to get the ads off. I don't know why my page isn't showing ads. I'm sure that's how Facebook makes their income.

God Bless,
Jean

How often should you change your guitar strings? That depends on how often you play your guitar and your body chemistry. Professional players may change their guitar strings every couple weeks or even more frequently. Most guitarists should probably change them at least once or twice a year...

Yes, there are actually guitar polish cleaners. Use a soft cotton cloth and light wood oil cleaner. Martin and Gibson both make a good polish for guitars. As for the frets... the best way to clean them is to remove the strings and use a fine wool steal to wipe off the dirt and grime.
