Currently, Jeff is a part owner of a small public relations firm based in Ventura County, and an employer. He serves on the board of directors for the Camarillo Chamber of Commerce.
From 1996-1999, Jeff served in Sacramento as an advocate for statewide business owners with the staff of the California Manufacturers and Technology Association.

Jeff is an accomplished attorney who studied law under U.S. Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy. He has practiced business, criminal, election, and land use law.

Jeff Gorell, a third generation naval officer, is a veteran of the War in Afghanistan, having been recalled to active duty after 9/11. In 2009, Jeff was promoted to Lt. Commander in the Navy Reserve where he continues to serve today as a naval intelligence officer.
