What van Jones said about white children vs black children was not right. I did not agree with him whatsover. He said that you will never see a black kid shooting up lots of people-like Columbine. But he did admit that black kids do shoot each other. How can an educated man stoop to that level of ignorance. Some opionions must be kept to yourself ... As a zambian living in the UK,the problem with africa is with the African leaders, they use slavery and colonialism as an excuse for under devlopement in Africa. Africa is arguably the richest continent in the world in terms of natural resources and yet it is still the poorest continent in the world.

Well, I have to say that during the 60s and the 70s, the British media referred to the entire contient as a "dark continent" and really made it so that no one could, (or would want to) invest in it. Til this very day, people dont treat the Bbc like they are capable of engineering propaganda.. The problem with Africa has nothing to do with the ... I often wonder if racism can ever end and how it would end. Then I think, if we continue to tell the stories of the struggles of our people, are we still continuing to proliferate the ideology of racism by constantly reminding our children and our children... Read More’s children of the ills of this world? If we do it as a people, then it just stands to reason that racist do it with their children, hence – the stench of racism will always resonate. I am not saying that we can forget where we’ve been – that would be a travesty. But maybe we need to be careful how we present our past and present struggles to our children.

The president's agendas & curriculum are drafted by people that fell less passionate about these issues than we do. Sadly enough he simply has to "play ball" to keep approval ratings up..

AGREE with Randolph. Our people are going to have to understand that yes, President Obama is a black man but he is not going to go beyond the limits and upset the apple cart. I would be more disappointed if in his private moments he doesn't display the emotions of what is is to be a black person living in the US of A. Sadly, the life of a President is almost akin to the life of a CEO, but out as much B.S. as you can and keep moving. Cynical, maybe????
