Personal Information:	THANKS FOR JOINING MY FACEBOOK PAGE! I'm a self taught visual artist currently residing in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Eventually moving to Vancouver, BC. I started cartooning comic strips in 1973 at age 8 and then painting in 1987. My earliest paintings were mainly realistic or impressionistic in nature. I dabbled in oil, acrylic, oil pastel, pencil and ink and pencil crayon mediums. I began displaying and selling my artwork in 1996 and made it a full-time creative pursuit in 2003. I have sold my paintings online since July 1999. In 1996 I began exploring his darker, quirkier side with ambiguous paintings. I wanted to express strange, playful, slightly unsettling images; a way to balance my rational and irrational thinking. This imagery is a fusion of cartoon, surreal, symbolic and abstract art styles that I has previously explored in his past. Inspired by women, I began painting female portraiture in 2000. An art series evolved. My main goal was to create alluring imagery that attracted and interacted with the viewer. These women painted are manifestations of beauty and persona. Each one loves you back. My women paintings have led to public demand for custom portrait artwork of all people; Men, women, kids and couples. This has kept me busy for many years and has been the majority of his work since 2004. I portray people with liveliness, beauty and joy. These are stylish, illustrative and attractive oil paintings.
