Biography:
Jeff began piano lessons and writing music at age 8. He attended the University of Western Ontario and, in 1987, graduated with an honours degree in Theory and Composition. While at Western, he studied with Alan Heard and Gerhard Wuensch, and found many different influences from as early as the Medieval period. Thanks for your response Jeff! That's a shame that the words never saw the light of day:( My great Uncle is the musician that was inquiring about the song, he plays trumpet in a band. Unfortunately, I don't know any good librettists.

Hi Tracy,

No, unfortunately it's only available as a concert band piece. My publisher at the time asked me to arrange it as a piece for easier level band. And yes, there are words for it somewhere (I'd have to do some digging!), but they've never seen the light of day, because the musical was never finished. Know any good librettists?

Is your song, "And the Birds Will Sing Again" available as a brass band score (rather than a concert band)? Are there any lyrics for that song? Thanks so much.
