Mr. Van Devender (can't call you any other way!) You may or may not remember me, but I was a piano student of yours when you were at North Kossuth/St. Johns in Iowa. You were my first of three piano teachers. I still play piano every now and then and have even taught myself how to play some songs and parts of other s...ongs. It feels weird playing again as it had been a few years worth of a break from playing. I want to thank you for teaching me and starting me into playing piano. It has something I have always enjoyed to do (even when most things I play are just sections of songs!) and I always think back to you starting me off on the piano.
